Strawberry Mansion students have new photography classes this year where they gain the knowledge to use a digital camera and the skills necessary to create successful images using basic digital image editing techniques. The classes focus on core photographic concepts and techniques, as well as aesthetic principles as they relate to composition, space, exposure, light and color.

Students are working towards an understanding of the practice of black and white photography, in order to develop the ability to capture a range of values within an image utilizing the appropriate settings on the digital camera.
