Since 2011, Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation of Philadelphia has been recognizing and rewarding teachers from Philadelphia public schools who demonstrate excellence in promoting learning at the highest levels. The teacher award recipients are chosen based on their activities that improve the intellectual and character development of scholars.

This year, we are proud to announce that Strawberry Mansion’s own mathematics teacher Mrs. Zoe Rooney was selected for this high honor. The awards are presented at a special convocation in the Spring which recognizes individual winners and their contributions to Philadelphia’s tradition of teaching excellence. Congratulations!
